Notes:

"I won't underestimate you, if you won't underestimate me..." This show came up quickly out of a discussion with departing DJ Cousin Kevin about Bob Dylan & Route 78 West. The Columbia 'Bootleg' Series has done a great job of releasing early sketches, live recordings and outtakes, but the wealth of other unreleased material of merit is still quite the 'collectors choice'. We decided to do a fast overview, with personal anecdotes of what these songs mean to both a young graduate and an old greying navel-gazing mystic. We hope you enjoy some of these obscurities.

This one is another chapter in the 'Gift to The Listeners' (#3) and there is more to come. I think it's time we devoted a whole show to just the "Basement Tapes" from 1967. Let us know what you think...
